Well, of course, the most famous Godfather line, NOT in the movie, "One man with a breifcase can beat a hundred men with guns" or something like that.

There are two versions of this line in the novel. The first one, remembered by Tom:
A lawyer with his briefcase can steal more than a hundred men with guns.
The second - the Don says to Sonny:
Lawyers can steal more money with a briefcase than a thousand men with guns and masks.

Good choice!

Without the novel in front of me, I can't remember the exact wording. But it was by Sollozzo to Tom - something to the effect of:
"My guys had strict orders not to kill the Don's kid. You can them that - Freddy is alive because of me. I didn't want any more hard feelings than necessary."

"A friend should always underestimate your virtues and an enemy overestimate your faults."

I also really like my signature line.
