A. His name was Nelson Cantellops, hired by Luciano, Costello, Lansky to set up Don Vito.

Q. Who was the major bootlegger later turned dope dealer who was known to be Meyer Lansky's mortal enemy?

I'm guessing, by deduction, that it was Vito Genovese. (Probably you have someone else in mind.)
Q. Who did Salvatore Maranzano recruit to assassinate Charlie Luciano?

A. I believe it was Vincent "mad dog" Coll.

Q. My previous Q stands because I'm sure you know this guys name. I wasn't thinking of Genovese although that is a valid answer. The guy I'm thinking of was not Italian. He and Lansky hated each other to the point where they could not be in the same room together, it sometimes got physical and Luciano had to get between them and break it up. Their feud was referred to by some as the war of the jews.

Right about Coll, Fanucci!
Could Lansky's adversary have been Arthur Flegenheimer, aka Dutch Schultz? He was a prick to everyone, not just Lansky.
Q. Benjamin Siegel was known as Bugsy. What other Jewish gangster of that era was known as "The Bug"? (hint: a connection with Dutch Schultz.)

OK I'll tell you. Lansky's feud was with Irving Wexler AKA "Waxey" Gordon.

A. Charlie "the bug" Workman was rumored to be one of Scultz's assasins.

Q. Dutch Scultz had a brewery in Union City and or West New York, NJ. It's been rumored that he had a very unique way of transporting beer out of the place. It did not involve any type of wheeled vehicles. How did he do it?

A That was Jack Ruby, Dallas nightclub owner and reputed to have mob connections, some say with Chicago. There are hundreds of differing stories about that, been 40 years now and we still don't know the answers.

No not by boat DP.

The only unusual thing I know about Schultz' breweries was that one of them had big freight elevators so that he could drive trucks in on one street and have them leave, loaded, on the other. I'm sure that's not what you have in mind, Fanucci. Answer?

OK here it is. Supposedly (according to what I have read in more than one place) they had installed hoses in the sewer pipes running under the streets. Probably with the knowledge of the powers that be in the city. I don't remember exactly where the hoses went to, probably to a more remote area where it was put in barrels and shipped. True? I dunno but it's a good story.

The next question is up for grabs, somebody ask one.

Who knows the address of Al Capone's house in Miami Beach?

The address was 93 Palm Island, on an artificial island off the causeway between Miami Beach and Key Biscayne.

Sorry, Machine Gun Jack McGurn, Capone triggerman, planned the St. Valentine's Day Massacre.
Tommy Lucchese was known as "Three-Finger Brown."

Actually, Via The Simpsons, I'm led to believe that they stuffed Bowling balls with Alochol and rolled them off into the sewers someplace, where they were picked up at Taverns?

Hmm, The guy that took over after Siegel had his own Group but I forgot what he/they were called.

Moe .... Kenitz? Dalitz?

I'm assuming it was "Double Cross" by Sam and Chuck Giancana.
Q. Who killed Big Jim Colosimo, Johnny Torrio's uncle?

(Answer to question on who took over the Flamingo after Bugsy Siegel's assassination: Moe Sedway and Gus Greenbaum.)

A. That was Bosko Radonjich, a Serb and said to have once worked for the CIA. Maybe his mother was Irish?

A. Joseph Civello.
Q. Which NYC mobster was known as the "Artichoke King"?

(Rusty: While Capone is often credited with whacking Big Jim Colosimo, Lawrence Bergreen, Capone's most recent biographer, says it was Francesco Uole, aka Frankie Yale, Capone's mentor in Brooklyn.)

A. The Artichoke king was Ciro Terranova. His story is very interesting, going way back to Sicily and the earliest days of the mob. It would make a great movie. He was like the Forrest Gump of the mafia, involved at one time or another with all the big gangsters and events through the 30's.
Artichoke King

Q. Back in the days of the big lavish mob funerals, which Chicago gangster was given a 21 gun salute?

Furntature salesman or used furnature dealer. I actually read that on a pointless facts article in the newspaper.

Not quite mob but still related to Gangsters. This question would be pretty easy for UK people but I don't know how well known they are worldwide. Two brothers, twins infact were big gangsters in the east end of London during the 60's. Who were they?

OK here's a new Q.

During prohibition, when a boat load of booze was in danger of being captured by the Coast Guard, the load was sometimes dumped in the water. There was an ingenious method (and I don't remember exactly by whom) of retrieving the booze later on. How was it done?

Prior to the Castellemmarese War of 1930-31, the family that became known as the Gambinos was headed by Al Mineo. Frank Scalise took over after Salvatore Maranzano triumphed over Joe (the Boss) Masseria. After Charlie Luciano arranged for the assassination of Maranzano, Vincent Mangano took over. He held on until about 1951, when he mysteriously disappeared, and Albert Anastasia assumed power. The "Mad Hatter" held on until October 1957, when he was whacked in a barber chair and Carlo Gambino became the boss.
