Would you give up your job right now to be in the Mafia?

I ticked the third option 'cuz I've just finished a job this month, so if "they" offer me a new one, well, who knows, we gotta talk about it and see if we can make a deal... Almammater

As fascinated as I am with it...
1. It's nothing anymore. 2. The mafia has lost almost all of what it has been on. 3. I want to live past 40.

Iceman, If I'm not prying, are you saying your lifelong dream would be to be in the "mob." If so, in what capacity are we talking???? I understand the excitement and attraction to it. Heck none of us would be here if we didn't feel it too. In other words, I guess, what exactly is the attraction for you that it would be your dream. (If that is what you are saying) I apoligize if I am getting too personal and you don't want to talk about it!!! But you mentioned it!!!!

I dunno, IceMan...I think maybe you're just feeling what a lot of dudes feel when a war breaks out. You know, it seems exciting, romantic, patriotic, etc. But then, after they donn the fatigues and get out there in the midst of a firefight, they start to see there's really no "glory" to war...just a lot of spilled blood, injustices, incompetence, loss of good friends, and just generally loss of life. I know it ain't the same thing, but I believe the "before & after" sentiments would hold true.

It wouldn't bother me to kill someone I know that sounds very cold hearted, but it's the truth.

Now you're scaring me, dude! The only type of person I think I could whack would be, say, some pervert or nut who hurt my kids. Okay, maybe some of those on death row, I'd gladly throw the switch myself (or should I say, inject the needle?). I.e., I might could summon the callousness or courage to do away with serious criminal vermin...and even saying that, I can't be sure I could, when push comes to shove. Naturally, I could during a real war. But to whack some stranger--maybe even my best friend--just because a "boss" tells me to? Can't do it, man.

I really believe Robert Deniros words in A Bronx Tale "The working man is the tough guy" and other lines asking whether the mob guys get up everyday for work.
I'm a tough guy. Always knew you were a tough guy Turi, I can smell 'decent' a mile off and I been clubbing in Leeds. What you said is true, my dads a good guy as are you and my hubby. I admit the money and power is a draw, sod it just become a politician FH
