I was watching it today but fell asleep, and I think that was a first in my life, I was really tired. My questions are when Michael says your oldest boy Victor was picked in Reno for some petty theft. Wasnt he just like 5 years old. What does he mean by that? And my second question is how did Michael conclude that the traitor was in his family? I know he said it was Roth but how did he know there was a family member behind this too?
Leave the gun and take the canoli.

Connie and Carlo were married in August 1945. Assuming Connie got pregnant right away, Victor would have been born in 1946, which would have made him 12 years old in 1958, when the scene you referred to was set. Just before the shots were fired at Tahoe, Kay asked why the drapes to the bedroom windows were open. You can conclude from that remark that they were normally closed. Thus, they were open for only one purpose: to allow shooters to draw a bead on Michael. Therefore, Michael must have concluded that someone inside the family--who'd have easy access to the rooms in the house, including his bedroom--must have been in on the attempted hit.
