Does someone know the current state of the DeCavacantes of New Jersey. I know that they arent doing well. Lots of people got arrested (since '99 over 40 members and associates it is said).
I know that about a year ago Joe Miranda became acting boss, he elevated from soldier to acting boss in less then a month.
The official boss John Riggi si still in jail for a couple of years and he isnt thay young.
It its been quiet over the last year, so i wonder if they are regrouping or if they just evaporated and their rackets have been taken over by the Gambinos and the Genoveses.

I even heared that they were so damaged that they just went up in the Gambino-family ,but most sources deny that.

The boss is either John Riggi or Joseph Miranda, depending on which week you're checking. They have no more than 40-50 people.
