I heard on the news last night, that in Riverside, California, two boys (one 20 and one a minor) killed their mother; chopped off her head and arms and dumped her body in another county. According to the news, these boys said they got the idea from watching an episode of The Sopranos! Pretty sick hu???

They just had another newscast on this story and one son is 20 and his brother is 15. They confirmed that they boys said they got the idea from the Sopranos, and thought by cutting off her hands/head and disposing of the body in several different places, that they would get caught. They also mentioned something about putting the fingers in acid (?) or something, so there would be no fingerprints for identification. They will try the 15 year old as an adult.

Yes, I am sure they'll blame the Sopranos for this. My feeling is that these kids and others who committ these crimes are "sick/troubled" in the first place, and no matter who they try to blame, ultimately, THEY are to blame and no one else.

Maybe they didn't have a bowling bag to put the head in.....or a caddy to drive the torso to the ocean....

Life wasn't all it's cut up to be for the mother.

But I'm sure hope floats.

Of course now I hear they are checking into reports of child abuse, which may or may not be true I don't know. It just seems that there's always supposedly a "reason" why someone or something else can be blamed for an act like this. Maybe at times there is someone else or something else to blame, I don't know, but the argument is wearing kind of thin to me. We'll see as details develop I guess.

Hey GP my Piasano!!

I'm not sure what piece (no pun intended ) of evidence drew them to the sons, but I believe they found a hand (or two) in a dumpsters outside. The younger brother is only 15 or so and they questioned both boys. They later found the torso in Orange County.

What's surprising to me is, that this happened in Riverside,CA, and although I don't live in Riverside, I found out they live just miles from me bordering my town. I'll keep you posted. And I will be careful..I'll call on my BB posse to come to my aid should I need assistance!

they probably wanted to do that to their ma. They are most likely mentioning Sopranos so they might get off do to minipulation. They will act sad and confused and another shit lawyer walks out with a new bank account. :p

wouldn't it be easier to burn the body and dump it in the river, after it was cut up?

The cutting up and desposing by thrash removal method only works accordingly in big cities where within a mere short amount of time, they have no way of tracing back the whose trash they have.

You have nothing to be ashamed about Don Giorgino. There is good and bad in every race, ethnicity and culture. Just as the mafia, consisting of Sicilian "low lifes" really, does not reflect on me as a Sicilian or any others of my nationality. It is an unfortuanate, sad and disgusting reality that in all walks of life. these things happen. Don't be hard on yourself!!

If i wasn't for the "good" members there would be; no bad.

DGG, I don't think hispanics will get stereotyped for cutting their mothers and blaming it on the sorpanos unless more follow. No need for worrying.
