Please excuse me if this has been discussed already, I haven't posted for ages...too long.

I read today in "DVD Monthly" a UK publication, that it has been agreed that a sixth season will start filming next year.

I am a recent convert to "The Sopranos" (heads up to Capo!) and would be delighted if this was true. I was under the impression that 5 seasons was the most any of the major characters had agreed to. Anyone shed some light on this?

F5A, glad you're still enjoying it. Season Six hasn't started filming; I don't know if it's a certainty yet, but it's definitely somewhere on the cards as a likely possibility. Good news, eh?

The inside scoop, fresh from "The Sopranos" bus tour, is Season #6 will film ten episodes, compared to the normal thirteen in other years.

is it the final season? i am supposed to be getting HBO soon but have never seen the show. should i buy the dvd collections? -Pat
