Why did you guys pre-order through Amazon (or wherever)your DVD package(knowing you'd have to wait a few days for shipping) when all you have to do is go down to the Wal-Marts of the world when it will be in store on the 9th and buy it instantly ? Looks like we have a lot of Fredo's out there...

if you have to worry about 5 to 10 dollars you shouldn't be spending your money as you can't afford it....I would hate to think that someone is going into the poorhouse no matter how much they love these films.

This DVD set will save us all money. All those times we'll hear ourselves saying "er sorry, I can't come out tonight, i've er, got stuff to do" before settling down infront of the TV with a glass of cheap wine, a packet of Ritz crackers and hours of digital Godfather magic. Salut!

I pre-ordered mine knowing that Amazon will have it in early and have it sent to me. I actually recieved mine on the release date anyway. So they are not breaking any boundries. I also didn't want to walk into town to buy it (I can be pretty lazy sometimes) because i'm waiting for my new motor bike on wednesday. so i'm without transport.

I think several have answered as to how ordering from Amazon ended up saving time AND money. Go for it guys...you've convinced me!

Ever notice how the people who say things like this are usually the ones who have the poorest grammar and sentence structure? Er... sorry, just the English Major in me rearing its ugly head. It's a cross to bear, y'know.

Capisco. I carry the same cross, and I'm not even an English major! After years of seeing/hearing bad grammar I've come to accept it as "English" since proper grammar seems to be in the minority. In fact, I've actually caught myself being guilty of it due to environmental exposure! Sad...
