I know there a lot of "Sopranos" fans on this site who reside in the U.K.
Is it true that you guys won't see Season Five at the same time as we will in the States? That you won't see Season Five for a LONG TIME?

If so, I offer my services. I am going to be taping every episode as they air, like I've done for the past three seasons. If you want, feel free to contact me at Duplenty@aol.com
I will mail the tapes of the episodes to you for a small fee, and you wont have to wait NEARLY as long to see Season Five!

How much do you reckon it'd cost per video...or i'd be tempted to do it on a 2 week basis, assuming theyy'll show one episide per week.

Very thoughtful indeed.

However, hopefully series 5 should air on the satellite channel E4 before the end of the run in the USA, either that or follow straight on from it.

It will then run a full cycle on E4 before hitting the Channel Four airwaves.

From what i hear Series 5 is gonna be broadcast on Channel 4 in September


would make sense considering Series 4 started in the US in September and came to C4 in March

Good, I am glad to hear that the U.K. fans will get to see Season Five not too long after the U.S. fans do!
But nevertheless, if any of you cannot wait to see the episodes, feel free to e-mail me at any time.
I ship PLENTY of video tapes (hockey fight videos, to be exact) to the U.K., so I know what the shipping rates are. A single video tape would cost about 7 U.S. dollars to send to the U.K.
I would place two episodes on a T-120 video tape, recorded in "SP" mode for the best quality. My price would be 12 U.S. dollars per tape; that amount covers the cost of the tape, packaging, and shipping.
