I would say that the complete epic has alot more then half of the scenes. Atleast my version, which is the 1901-1959. Maybe the 1902 version has fewer scenes... Anyway, my version has all of the scenes from the dvd, including the Bonnasera scene and a bunch of others such as Kay stoping Anthony from running to Michael and Fannucci dancing and singing. And alot of the scens are longer then the on the normal version. But I know the Saga is the longest, I never seen the ending scenes where Michael is walking with an older Anthony and Kay coming with tea

I have seen some conflicting information that it was called Godfather the complete epic 1902-1959, the Triology 35th ann. addition,. and Godfather the saga. which one is it and where can a buy it besides ebay? Please help me and soon The title is actually 'The Godfather 1902 - 1959 The Complete Epic', it has GF I & II edited together in chronological order with new scenes added. The television version was called 'The Godfather Saga'. And the 35th Anniversary Edition is actually the 25th Anniversary Edition, that is called 'The Godfather Trilogy 1902 - 1980', it has all three movies edited in chronological order with the aformentioned new scenes. It's a 25th Anniversary edition boxset because it was released in 1997 and only 6500 copies were ever printed. I have both versions.

But if you want the most complete version, you'll have to wait until the complete epic is shown on cable TV, probably on Bravo. The TV version has all the deleted scenes in chronological order--it's the best version. Turnbull: The only problem with the TV version, when shown on Bravo, is that censor some of the language such as "I dont want him coming out with a stick in his hand".

Yeah, that one never fails to give me a chuckle, Johnny. Others: Bonasera says to the Don: "And then those two punks (not "bastards") smiled at me." And in II, Frankie Pentangeli says, "Clemenza promised the Rosato Brothers ushgatz" (as if the TV censors wouldn't let him say "ugatz."

It is actually called the box set trilogy and I believe it is what John Patrick referred to as the 25th anniversary set. John Patrick if your out there can you drop me a post to tell me if the 25th anniversary set is what I am looking for since you have both?? I would have loved to get the 1902-1959 complete epic but since that seems impossible to locate I figured the anniversary set was the next best thing. Well thanks again!!!! Hey guy, as I said to you in the email, the boxset would be called 'The Godfather Trilogy 1901 - 1980' and underneath that, it would say 25th Anniversary Edition. Be careful not to get 'The Godfather Collection', which is all three movies in their own cases in a box because that's not the versions in chronological order. And regarding my copy of 'The Godfather 1902 - 1959 The Complete Epic', I have it up for sale on ebay. Just go to www.ebay.com and type in godfather epic in the search engine.
