Actually its a rental and its only GF1. The bastards at Blockbuster packed the bonus DVD with GF3. Anyway, I don't have a fast PC, but I haven't had a DVD skip as much as this especially during the wedding scene when Clemenza was dancing. Its also has some scratches (why? I'm probably the first to rent it) so that might have something to do with it. I'm going to try to test it on my roommate's PC to see if its actually my pc's fault.

I've watched all of the GF1 and I didn't see any extra footage (the ones in Trilogy and Saga). Is that all in the Bonus Disc or is there none at all.

Deleted scenes are in Bonus material.

I don't care about watching it how it was seen the first time. I prefer the Trilogy/Saga than the original. I don't know about you, but whats the point of having extra footage if don't seem them during the movie? I mean...if you watch them seperately, you probably wouldn't know where the clips fit in the movie.

Maybe it would have been better in the DVD for people to have the option to have it with or without the deleted scenes. I've already seen the deleted scenes, and I pretty much have an idea of where they go in the movie. In the DVD they have a description of where the scene would be in the movie before they show it to you.

It'll be nice if they give you that option, but the production cost would be a lot higher. It'll also cost more if they make two separated DVD Collections.

While of course it's nice to see extra scenes -- and I do believe at least one or two should have been in the final cuts -- there are reasons that they were ommited.

The final cut is how the movie was intended. FFC didn't want to make a chronological version, but a network made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Personally, I prefer the films as they are (while the cut garden scene should have been included). Watching the Saga/Trilogy is nice now and then, but I prefer the flashbacks as they add a full dimension to the films that is lost when it's chronological.

But of course, I want to see and have it all! grin
