Just wanted to see what the average price was for the Season due out on June 7th (this coming tuesday). Amazon.com's List Price is $99.99, but "slashed" to only $64.99 :p Best Buy is 69.99. The lowest I've seen is Circuit City, who wants $59. I think I'll stop over there Tuesday. The only thing is that this is the first season I'll be buying, the rest I've gotten through the library. Oh well. I suppose I can buy them retroactively once they drop in price.

Usually places like BestBuy & Wal-Mart have sale prices for the new release DVDs Tuesday through Saturday. Once Sunday hits it goes to "regular" price. For example, when Casino comes out a week from tomorrow, BestBuy will be selling it for $16.99 Tuesday (the 14th) through Saturday (the 18th). On Sunday (the 19th), I bet you it goes up to $19.99

Think about buying it HERE (Amazon.com) or HERE (Amazon UK) if you wanna support this site. No pressure! No guilt! Hmm, I just noticed Amazon UK is selling the NTSC version. No idea when the PAL version will be released at this point....

I bought mine at Circuit City for $59.99. This is the lowest price I have seen for ANY Sopranos Box Set since "time immemorial" I don't expect to see any Sopranos box set ever to go lower than this price other than last minute Christmas Sales or Black Friday impulse buys. And even so, it would most likely be the first season to entice people to eventually purchase the entire series.
Bart, Is it wrong to steal a loaf of bread to feed your starving family? No. Well suppose you got a large starving family, is it wrong to steal a truckload of bread to feed them? Uh-uh. And what if your family don't like bread, they like cigarettes? I guess thats ok. Now what if instead of giving them away, you sold them at a price that was practically giving them away. Would that be a crime Bart?

Hmm, I just noticed Amazon UK is selling the NTSC version. No idea when the PAL version will be released at this point.... That's weird because they've been selling the PAL version here for well over a year, maybe 18 months... Here :p Update that link to support the site!

I mean, we have a store here (which recently got closed down) that sold second-hand DVDs for more money than the brand new ones at a store down the road. Ridiculous. Mick

The Shield (at least season one) had a commentary on all thirteen episodes, and sold at less than half the price of The Sopranos boxsets over here. Mick
