When did this become The Puke Show? It's like every episode this season features the propelling of stomach contents. It's bad enough hurling has become an almost obligatory standard practice in cinema today.

I'd just like to know what focus group concluded way back whenever that the moviegoer is so robbed when a nausea scene does not graphically show the slimy ooze exploding from the actor's mouth.

WHEN "The Godfather" is remade (give it time, folks, you know it's gotta happen at some point...), you just know how the Khartoum climax is going to play out.

But... aside from that, let me just say that I swear, on the souls of my children, that I truly enjoyed the episode that I saw tonight. (Applause and hugs, anyone?)

Puking is used in cinema the same reason eating, pissing, shitting, and farting are. Humans do it.

They wipe also, do we see what ends up on the tissue?

They blow snot and boogers in a tissue or hanky and look at it, do we see this?

Women change their soiled tampons, do we see this?


Humans do a lot of things that somehow get left out of the artistic pool (fetish videos notwithstanding).

Depends on what films you are watching. I could care less if I see someone puke.
