He did it because hes insecure and cant stand to see other people overcome problems when he has so many of his own. Or like with the "Test Dream" eppisode. Thats what I love about Sopranos. Hits are fun to watch but the extent to which people get whacked is not what makes me love the show, and I say that with absolute positivity. Yes, this season is deep. Probably more deep than any other previous season, but I feel like they are trying too hard to make it that way. What makes this season differnet to me is that all other seasons were naturally brilliant, but this one is artifically brilliant. It just seems like they are trying too hard. Everything is starting to seem forced and repetitive, and its starting to make the show dull.

great season. i reckon once we all have the dvd sets we will all LOVE this season. Watching them weekly doesnt help the show progress as easily as it does when you can simple put on the next episode.
The first few episodes, with the dream sequences/reality cross overs, were abolutely fabulous i thought.
the acting, the lighting, the direction, the writing...absolutely beyond comparison.
The Sopranos will go down in history as being one of the more important and respected aspect of the mafia's impact on popular culture. In 10 or 15 years time, when people think Mafia whilst the usual references to Capone and the Godfather will still be prevalent, the Sopranos will be the immediate next thing on everyones lips.
Thats where you're wrong...out there its the 1990s. In here its 1952.

I hope they're not just trying to kill the series just because it is ending.

This was not a season in the style of season 2 or 3 where something was happening constantly. Season 6, at least the first 11 weeks of it, seems to be a set up for the second half restablishing who these characters are and what exactly they stand to lose when all hell breaks loose. I feel a mob war brewing...I think a major hit is going to go out....I fear for Chrissy's life. Just a thought.
Leave the Gun...take the cannoli...on second thought leave the cannoli too, I'm on a diet.

It seems that Tony's relationship with Chris is growing too much to just end it now. He looks to be next in line if need be. Now that I think of it he kind of reminds me of Vincent from the Godfather III. Kind of crazy guy though becomes boss in the end.
