Turnbull recalls Phil Leotardo's indignation at Tony's priceless observation... Tony "says I look like the Shah of Iran." Tony's comment was in that gray area between "with all due respect" and "I don't mean that in a bad way." The "Shah of Iran" reference requires that you actually remember some Middle East political science and history from the late 1970's BEFORE the hostage crisis at the Amercian Embassy in Tehran. It's such an obscure reference because it requires you to remember a very narrow moment in history from that era. That's what makes it so perfect... ...because Phil DOES resemble the Shah...
