I don't give a Rip Hamilton that it's not as good on PS2. The game rocks and it's the only system I got and need. It's not as bad as people say. How can people compare it to the PC version? Of course the graphics aren't as good, but that is expected.

I have mafia on pc and it's magnificent! The story is superb, full of gangster movie cliches(kinda like desperados with western films). In the beginning it might be a bit boring but the story and the levels develop quickly and... well, I won't spoil it for you, play it yourself!

I worked my ass off all week to earn some money to go buy it for PC. Now I own it but can't play it because I don't have the right system requirements. I tried to download the stuff I need to, you know, see the characters but of course that costs more money. I guess I'll have to work some more to save up for a PS2 or XBOX and then the game. This could not suck more, I should've bought The Godfather Collection on DVD.

THis happened to me recently. I needed a new graphics card for a new snooker game. Bought the card, then found I'd bought an AGP one and not PCI (which my computer only takes). So, sold the AGP (losing out on money) and bought the PCI card, only to find my computer won't install the software. Taking it to the shop, I find that my computer is too lod (three years) and its tower is too small to upgrade my power supply--and the current one is too low to handle the new graphics cards. As I bought the game off the Net, I am now stuck with it and have wasted money. Mick

The game was great on PC, not so great on PS2. The auto-aim feature works when it wants to, and it's crashed on me a few times. Graphics really don't matter to me, so that's not why I'm having trouble recommending the PS2 version. The story is great, and I did have more enjoyable moments than aggravating moments, but the story can't overshadow the fact that this is a sloppy port of the PC version. I'm all for difficult games, because in my opinion, games are too easy and too short nowadays, but you shouldn't make a game difficult, and sacrifice the fun factor. Aiming with the right analog stick doesn't work too well, and the auto aim really isn't even there. The story gets a 10, the game itself gets a 5, so overall, I give the PS2 version a 7.5.
