Well, I agree on the main character of this GTA probably sucking but the characters in GTA 3 and Vice City are different so I wouldn't have expected Tommy.

First of all, even though the game is a much more different setting than the previous games(mafia vs street), I know ill still buy the game. However I must say somthing having to do with making the character main black, not about racism but the about the perspecitves of other people. By that I mean, some mother is going to see her son playing a video where he is a black man that shoots people. I dont think it will go down too well. Me personally, i dont care if the character is black or white but I just thought I would point out that perspective I know some people will have.

No one that responded to this thread is racist. We are fans of GTA and a lot of us were hoping that the writers would go the "mafia" direction, like what they did with the last two games, but judging by the pictures, this is not going to happen.
We aren't angry because the main characters are black, we are angry because they aren't Italians, which is what most of us were hoping for.
Don't take it personally, we would still be disappointed if the main characters were Native Americans, or Yakuza, or Latin-American.

ahhh i was like come one now the story line is kinda corny, but after reading all the features it actually got me excited. Might not be that bad. It also said some "characters from the past will be present". It said somehting about millonaires maybe Donald Love makes a return.

Come on you guys, it's GTA!!! Rockstar might not make too many other great games, but the GTA series, since GTA3, has been spectacular. They're changing it up a bit, what's wrong with that??

No, but since we are fans of films like Goodfellas and The Godfather, I think our obvious choice would be a Mafia-type game rather than a street game. But, I am actually really looking forward to this. It is supposed to be a lot bigger and has a lot more features than the previous games.

Now I hear that San Andreas has three cities. But how big are these cities? Like Vice City sized? Liberty City sized? If its either of those two, then were in for a real treat.

Raggingbull, somewhere in that article it said that the cities are 3 times as big as vice and liberty combined. It even said it has a real big mountain that takes exactly 60 seconds to get to the top in a helicopter.

I believe it said a half a minute to asscend to the top but thats still awesome. And this means that the helicopters have more altitude capacity, because the vice city helicopters didnt even take 10 seconds to asscend to full capacity.
