Reservoir Dogs Set Release: 2006
King Kong Set Release: Q4 2005

I heard in the Reservoir Dogs game you play as several characters like a cop and Mr.Blonde.
Also this isnt a movie but a Family Guy game is coming out.

Originally posted by Taxi Driver: a Reservoir Dogs movie... thats gonna suck I thought they made one way back in the 90s... I know, you meant "Game". Actually I heard Tarantino pulledthe plug on that one, like he did with the Kill Bill game. I really won't judge as of yet, although I am hoping it'll turn out good, seeing as Reservoir Dogs was one of my favourite Tarantino flicks. Personally, I think Sin City would make a good game, granted they don't throw it together like shit. I think if you could get the GTA staff of Rockstar to collaborate (and listen, Ice is back for a brand new invention) with Miller, then they could really get something going; A freeroam feature to fool around in inbetween missions, but they would have to keep the free-roam world and the mission-world the same, or it'd suck like every other free-roam take off. The ability to choose which story/character to follow would also be interesting...

I mean, with good graphics, and free roaming, this game could definately be just as awsome as the movie.

I'm generally skeptical about movie-themed video games. They tend to try to beat some deadline when they make 'em and it shows in the end product, much to the dismay of those who have plopped down $50 without first renting the game just because they thought it'd be cool because the movie was (remember "Enter the Matrix," anyone?). Of course, those spoken of are, for the most part, past movies, so I don't know...maybe. But I'm sure I'll follow my old (yet efficacious) practice of renting them first. Hey! It occurred to me: Why don't they make a game based on Demi Moore's Striptease ?!?

I remember, before the idea for GTA: San Andreas materialized, they were gonna make a game called Grand Theft Auto: Sin City. It had nothing to do with Frank Miller's comic or film, I imagine. I just found it ironic...

Sin City gta style would be cool. But if Rockstar makes it I hope police won't be much of a factor like in the gta games. I mean you already have enough enemies whoever you are in the game.

The first rumour was GTA: Sin City, which was to be Las Vegas ONLY. Personally, I think it would have been cool like that, considering it'd be most likely mob based. The second rumour, which held a bit more truth, was that it was to be called GTA: San Andreas, but take place in San Francisco ONLY, and it'd take place in the mid-70s. Of course, we were over joyed to find not both cities in the final product, but the addition of a third city based on Los Angeles, and loads of country side. Of course, the idea of GTA: Sin City was bull-shit all along, as Rockstar announced. They fooled us this time.

I mean you already have enough enemies whoever you are in the game. They'd have to! It would destroy the game; the po-po ( ) played a MAJOR factor in the film. I mean, especially if you're playing as Marv. He was running from the cops. And in Dwight's story, he kills a cop. And Hartigan was a cop, out against the cops and the baddies. However, with the majority of the cops in the film being corrupt, they'd have to figure out something fancy and original for the cop system.

I liked the fact that you had to "hack" if you wanted infinite w/e. But the graphics and missions werent anything special.

Originally posted by Tom: Yea I get what your saying but I hate that star thing in gta, it's so annoying. Well, GTA is supposed to be somewhat of a cartoon-world... I think the way the cops viciously attack you kind of compliments that, in an almost comedic way... I've had some good laughs just being chased by the police in those games (especially in GTAIII!). Although, during a mission, it can get irritating.
