Is it just me or does it seem like Microsoft and Sony are jumping the gun on the next generation of game systems. From what I've seen so far I'm not impressed as the look and gameplay appear to be only negligibly better than the current consoles. After such beautiful games like GOD OF WAR and innovative ones like KATAMARI DAMACY it just seems like a next gen now is premature. Am I alone here? For the record I have no interest in XBOX 360 and only see myself getting PS3 after the first price drop.
Leave the Gun...take the cannoli...on second thought leave the cannoli too, I'm on a diet.

Umm, yeah you're alone. BRING ON THE 360! RAH! RAH! RAH! :p The Godfather baby. Oh look at this, it's Madden 06: Next Gen screenshots! Sorry if they stretch out the page... REAL NFL referee Ed Hochuli (who IS that muscular in real life.) Some other screens from 06: Next Gen. (Keep in mind this will be the FIRST rendering of Madden on next-gen, so this isn't even it's full potential!)
Hey, how's it going?

THERE ARE THREE players in the gamemarket: Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. I'll come back later to agree, and to disagree with your POV.
See, we can act as smart as we want, but at the end of the day, we still follow a guy who fucks himself with kebab skewers.

Nintendo is on the afterburner at this point. They are trying to make a comeback with the Revolution to prove they have a console that is worth buying, but the problem is that the other consoles have bigger and better game libraries (and exclusives) while the GameCube was limited, especially since many sports titles didn't get ported to the GCN, so it wasn't really able to be considered a true alternative to Sony or Microsoft. And, in my humble opinion, Nintendo had better make this next console awesome, and be able to appeal to a gamer who is picking 1 of the 3 to buy. Otherwise, they will not be able to compete if all they have is the standard fanbase of gamers who buy exclusives for the GCN and all the rest for either PS2 or X-Box. I predict Nintendo is going to go the way of Sega and cease console production, and become a producer, or, worst case scenario, they are bought out by Sony ( ) or Microsoft ( )
