I cannot believe what I just saw!! Arizona actually came back from a 17-6 deficit to take the Minnesota Vikings out of playoff contention. Towards the end of the game I heard that Arizona had recovered an onside kick, but since the game wasn't televised in my region, I had to wait for the scores to scroll on the TV screen.
What an amazing day for Packers fans. The way the whole situation played out could not have been scripted better for Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers. The entire day was filled with upsets and surprises, but this one takes the cake. I cannot wait for Mike Holmgren to return to Lambeau Field once again on Saturday. Go Pack!

The Packers may go all the way! But if they make it to the Super Bowl, they'll be crushed by the almighty Patriots! Ha Ha Ha

raggingbull2003: Why do you dislike Brett Favre so much? Did he do something offending to the NY Giants? I'm asking this not only as a Packers/Favre fan, but as a football fan in general. I've always seen Favre as a classy and genuine player, something the NFL has too few of these days. Favre has adds a flavor to the league, something enjoyable and fun to watch.
Anyways, the playoffs look very exciting. It is only a matter of time before we see who the next World Champions are. In my opinion, there's no better storyline than Brett Favre winning the championship for his father. Congratulations to all the teams who made the playoffs; you guys earned it.

Caporegime-
Okay; maybe I got a little carried away. I dont really hate Brett Favre, but I certainly am not a fan of him. I dont know why really. I guess I just dont like his style of play. Rich Gannon, Kurt Warner, Jeff Garcia, Troy Aikman, even John Elway... I felt pretty close to the same way about them. It isnt personal.
and Meggie; I am a Giants fan and I dont hate the Ravens. I wasnt rooting for them this season, because I wanted to see the Bengals in the playoffs, but I dont really dislike or like the Ravens.

Ok, my boyfriend, who is from Baltimore, seems to think that the Ravens have a "thug" reputation, possibly because of the Ray Lewis mishap, but most people dont give them their props. Just wanted to see what other opinions are out there

What a great game indeed! Both teams played with a lot of heart, but the Pack was fortunate enough to pull off a victory with an overtime interception from Al Harris, who is now going to face his former team- The Philadelphia Eagles. The scene at Lambeau Field was energetic to say the least, and those fans really got their money's worth today.
To be completely honest, as much faith as I have in Favre and the Pack, I had doubts when Seattle got its 2nd overtime possession. I am now clearly convinced that there are angels watching over this team; there is something supernatural behind it all. A well-played game by both teams all in all. Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers! We're going to Philly baby!
