"Red Sox RHP Curt Schilling, 38, plans to retire when his contract expires at the end of the 2007 season. Schilling, in an interview that will appear on FOX Sports Net Across America on February 20, says he will not play past age 40 in an attempt to strengthen his Hall of Fame credentials. By playing only three more seasons, he likely would fall short of the 66 victories he needs to reach 250. Schilling, however, says his family will come first." WOO HOO, soon it'll be "ding dong, the witch is dead!"

I agree with Don Jasani here. Schilling has had a great career, and looks like he can still dominate for the next 3 years. Plus, the fact that he played such a huge role in reversing "The Curse" gives even more power to him. I strongly believe that he will be first ballot Hall of Famer.
