I don't hate any athletes. Of the ones in the poll, my least favorite is Kobe Bryant.

Bonds because he is in a position to break one of the most hallowed records in all of sports. And he'll eclipse Hank Aaron, who was the epitome of class. Bonds is the polar opposite - the very definition of an out-of-touch athlete who will not admitted that he cheated to get where he is today, while Aaron made his career based on talent and hard work.

Ray "Got Away With Murder" Lewis should be on that list.

You are exactly right though (and so was T.O.). Why is Ray Lewis the poster-boy for the NFL, while at the same time the league has broken off all ties with Rae Caruth (the NFL does not allow you to buy a jersey with his name on it)?

Seems to me that murder is OK in the NFL, as long as you aren't convicted.

When Kobe had Shaq and people were calling him the next Jordan I hated him more then any athlete ever.

Now its just a "told you so" mentality. Hes not any closer to MJ then AI or LeBron. People are finally shutting up now that he has to struggle to be in playoff contention 8 or 9 years into his career

Barry Bonds. Not because he's anti-social. Not because he is actually a very good ballplayer. But because a.) he is a racist and b.) turns any argument that he used steroids into some kind of white-media attack on a black man who succeeded.

If Ray Lewis would've been up there, I would've voted for him though.
