The comentary is my favorite thing about DVDs. Everyone I know can't understand why I like to sit and just listen to people talk. Comentaries are usually better when the are more than one person involved( Any Kevin Smith movies comentary is always great), but you get alot of intersting stories from FFC and some interesting anecdotes. Definately worth watching with the comentary going.

Maybe another case of Australia getting the normal version of DVD's. Eg. We only have the normal Goodfellas available. Damn.

Didnt Steven Speilberg say he was against commentrys? He tought it ruined the movies.

Maybe you you don't have the special addition DVDs, just the bare bones version. I have The Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Jay and Bob Strike Back ones. And about the Goodfellas DVD, there isn't a special addition version out yet. It should becoming out within this year or even next year.

I'm with Don Munoz on this one. The commentaries are primo features for me. I've listened to the whole commentaries for GF and GFII.
While we're talking features, I also love the subtitles option. Has helped clear up lots of misunderstood dialog.
The main character, it's a guy just like me. I uh -- I wouldn't even have to act -- just be myself.

i dont listen 2 commentaries
because, its hard 2 focus on the movie and them speaking its annoying

The comentaries do make it hard to focus on the movie, but you really aren't supposed to be focusing on the movie. You're really supposed to watch the movie with the comentary after you watch the movie by itself. And because I've seen these movies at least a dozen times, hearing fact, anectdotes, and other stuff that I didnt know from the director/writer makes the movies even better for me.

I heard all 3 and I can assure you its is interesting. Specially about casting her own daughter in GF 3 and his budget for the 1st film (and him being replaced).
