According to ESPN: http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/preview2005/news/story?id=2172408 It's hard to argue against Beliveau, Gretzky, Howe, Lemieux, Messier, Orr, Richard and Roy but I have to question Doug Harvey's and Eddie Shore's inclusion on the list. Where are Ed Belfour and Steve Yzerman? Also it would probably have been a better idea to make a separate list for goaltenders.

Eddie Balfour? Steve Yzerman? As top 10 all-time greats? Might as well throw a Ken Dryden and a John Bucyk on the list.
You can't have Eddie Shore without Toe Blake...THAT's old time hockey!

The stats speak for themselves.
Ed Belfour 435 Wins/282 Losses, 75 Shutouts a career 2.43 G.A.A. and a Stanley Cup ring.
Steve Yzerman 678 Goals, 1 043 Assists, 1 721 Points, 70 G, 111 A, 181 P (Playoffs) and 3 Stanley Cup rings.
Ken Dryden could be on the list with 258 W/57 L, 40 SO and a 2.24 G.A.A., 5 Vezina Trophies, a R.O.Y. Trophy, a Conn Smythe Trophy and 6 Stanley Cup rings.
John Bucyk although he had a stellar career, does not belong on the list of the 10 greatest of all time.
