Would she have testified in some way ?
No way. She was in "the life" too long. Could Junior and Tony have kept the peace with her around to instigate things ?
No way. She loved to play the two of them against each other (and was very good at it). You bring up a good point about how different the storyline would've been if she had lived. I'm pretty happy about the storyline now, but its an interesting thought (about what it would be if she was still on the show). .

she got on my nerves sometimes, but she was a definite asset to the show.
the worst though is the editing job they did after she had died to include her in that last episode. i was never so disappointed in the Sopranos as I was in that trash. it was terribly edited to include her in a few scenes after she had passed away.
Fredo, you're my older brother and I love you, but dont ever take sides with anyone against the family again

Chase probably would have scrapped the Jackie Jr. storyline, wasn't his idea for her to be in the case against Tony?

Chase probably would have scrapped the Jackie Jr. storyline, wasn't his idea for her to be in the case against Tony? Could be. I cannot recall exactly what happened, but I believe that in the next to last or the last episode of the second season, she was sent on a plane, or attempted to go on a trip, given tickets by Tony that were obtained through some kind of a scam. Does anyone recall this? I had always thought that she would get caught by the authorities with those tickets and then would have put Tony in hot water. But Marchand died in real life before the next season started. Don Cardi

Yeah I remember that the original idea was to have her testify against Tony about where he got the stolen airline tickets, but Marchand died before filming began for season three.
