Very true... But Surfer Rosa and Doolittle probably contain some of their best material.
See, this is why I can never get myself to rank a sturdy "top ten" list for music. I always list the two or three albums that I contain an unconditional love for, and then whatever else I'm listening to at the time. Right now, I see a geaping hole in my list that needs some Pixies, Nirvana, Sonic Youth... Ten spots just isn't enough.

I downloaded a pirated copy. It's not as good as Funeral, but still very cool. It has sort of a 1980s new-wave feel to it; more so than the last album. It actually reminds me of Echo and the Bunny Men a little.
