You know, I'm watching a couple episodes now on A & E and I have to say, I thought it'd be more tame than it is. Thus far, no whackings, so I don't know yet how they will handle that. However, I thought they'd "redo" the language and even some of the sex scenes "more" than they did. Still cleaned up, but not as much, nor as bad as I thought it would be, at least by the two episodes I've seen. How much thinner Tony and Janice look (and younger) TIS

I'm enjoying watching these episodes. I have only seen most of them once and it's a great referesher course. In case someone hasn't ever seen this show: Janice just kills Richie and Chris & Furio are chopping him up. Chris says, "it'll be a long while before I eat anything at Satriale's" Oh, and quite a catchy tune they play during the commercials advertising the show, "Mama we all go to hell". Grows on you no? It never was in any of the episodes was it? TIS

Also, they show Michael Imperioli's (Chrissy) DVD player commercial quite often. Go figure...

Yea, I've seen Imperioli's commercial. I guess now that he's out of a job, he needs the work. Sopranoleone, aren't you surprised they are letting some of the language in on regular tv (even though it's cable). The "F" word is out, but I'm still surprised. TIS Well, they just blew it! Tony calls is mother, "my freakin' gosh darn idiot of a mother"

And now they're having the scenes where they make fun of Ginny Sack. "Ginny sack needs her own zip code". "You wrap your hands around Ginny, your hands disappear". "New Jersey's a small state. Ginny moves in it'll tip over".

SC, Think of this. There are people who never had HBO and never saw the show at all (I know for us Soprano addicts, it's hard to believe :)). This is playing to a new audience, who won't even know what's been altered and/or cut out. I have a friend at work, who is seeing it for the first time on A & E. She has heard myself and another gal talk about it and wants to see what all the fuss is about. She really likes it, and doesn't care that it's edited and/or changed for tv. So, it could become popular all over again for first time viewers. Who knows? TIS Edit: Forgot a smiley There!!!

I know what you mean Beth. For a while I thought he would some how find out. However, this late in the game, with only two more episodes to go, I'm guessing that'll be a non-issue. I agree though. Had Tony found out, he'd definitely do something. TIS
