Hi, I just recently watched Godfather part 2 and I noticed something with the dvd movie. At the beggining of the movie when Connie is talking to her mother at Anthony's party, the image seems to bounce up and down. Also, when a bodyguard is sitting on top of the house, the image bounces a little bit. It doesn't shake up a lot but is quite noticable when you seriously view them up close. As if the cameraman was nervous or something. There are some other shaky scenes in the movie but I forget.
Does everybody has this same problem with their dvd movie? Is this a flaw from my dvd movie or was this filmed like that? Thank you.
why you?

It must be your DVD, sad to say . Before I got my glasses my eyesight was so bad i used to sit up close to the TV and I never noticed this. Plus FFC isn't reall known for shooting stuff free hand. I can't remember one scene at all from any of his films where he shoots without putting the camera on a stand. I'm sure theres some but very little.
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

Nearly at the end of the movie where the stand-off scene takes place, it bounces quite bit. I returned the dvd movie 3 times to the store and all of them had this bouncy problem. I think it was filmed that way but I dunno.

I work for a film studio, where I oversee all the DVD manufacturing and authoring. Since the picture is digitalized, or "encoded" it would be almost impossible to bounce, as a VHS with bad tracking would. I say it's your player- try it on another machine. Good luck.
What have I done that you would treat me so disrepectfully?

Also my discs are also fine because I borrow my friend's copy and he has the same flaw.
So this means it was filmed that way I guess. [/b]was it 5 different players at different houses or did you take them to your house on your connections? I'm not saying you are wrong about the way it may have been filmed I'm just saying that those stupid connections and wires can cause things as well.
