What does Mignon, er, I mean Mama say at the dinner table in Part II's communion scene? It looks like she's talking crap on Fredo's wife and Merle, does anyone know what she said exactly?
-In my HOME!!! In my BEDROOM WHERE MY WIFE SLEEPS!! Where my children come and play with their toys. In my home.
-My father taught me many things here -- he taught me in this room. He taught me -- keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.

PENTANGELI: "Yeah, CLEMENZA promised them [something in Italian]. CLEMENZA promised them nothing. He hated those son of a bitches more than I do. "Anyone feel like taking a shot at this one? He says "Clemenza promised them ougats." Ougats is a slang term which means "nothing." It's basically the equivalent of "squat" or "jack shit." And in the "Saga" version shown on TV, they censored it so he says, "Clemenza promised them ushgatz," as if that would spare our tender ears.

What does "mort'" mean?
PANTANGELI: "I want those Rasoto's dead!"
MICHAEL: "No."
PANTANGELI: "Mort'."

Like I posted, I can't hear it very well at all, but I would have sworn that the first pronounced letter out of his mouth was an S. Well, you learn something every day.
"Generosity. That was my first mistake." "Experience must be our only guide; reason may mislead us." "Instagram is Twitter for people who can't read."
