This is big news in Nottingham,i live about a mile away from their turf and grew up with some of them. This gang was responsible for most of the gun crime in Nottingham..Some of there crimes are shocking. A friend of mine was smashed in the face with a pint glass by one of them a couple of years ago.But was to scared to report it.. Never relised they was such a treat until about 2,3 years ago. Never heard of this guy De Niro but he sounds like a right nasty bit of work  Plenty of villians in Newcastle,mostly in the West End of the city (i live in the East End)who fight over protection rackets,ownership of pubs and taxi firms and of course...drugs. It always boils down to drugs does'nt it? Most of the gangs are proper families....as in blood relatives,there always seems to be hundreds of them!

All along Colin was an informant, providing information on other criminals.
Its also said that he has a phone in his cell where he controls people on the outside.
Funny, I thought that British gangsters couldn't put the Acting Boss thing into practice. It looks like this drug taking thug proved a few of you wrong.
