She has at least two children with Carlo. When Carlo beats her, she is pregnant with her first child. Years later, we know that she has Michael Francis Rizzi, who is baptized by Kay and Michael. Exactly, SB! Plus, Connie had been married at least once after Carlo bought the farm: --The novel states that she "filled her bed" with a Corleone family employee. --In GFII, Michael says, "The ink on your divorce isn't even dry.." and yet she's running off with Merle. She might have had more kids that we didn't know about.

Point of order: Kay and Michael didn't do the baptizing, it was done by the priest. From the Baltimore Catechism.
318. Who can administer Baptism? The priest is the usual minister of Baptism, but if there is danger that someone will die without Baptism, anyone else may and should baptize.

In the book I believe it was Confirmation, not Baptism. So, I must have been an older son, not the newborn.

In the book I believe it was Confirmation, not Baptism. So, I must have been an older son, not the newborn. Then who was the bishop, as a bishop is the usual administer of Confirmation? Again from the Baltimore Catechism: 331. Who is the usual minister of Confirmation? The bishop is the usual minister of Confirmation.

Johnny...The Baltimore Catechism? The one with the blue cover? I thought they moved it to Indianapolis after Vatican II. I remember having to memorize that thing. And as for baptism I always thought it was cool that anyone could baptize people. When I was about 8 I went around baptizing (often without their knowledge) all my non Catholic friends, as well as dogs, cats and the occasional rabbit.

Its been so long ago, that I really don't remember the color of the cover, but I seem to think it was blue. But I do remember having to memorize the whole thing. As funny as it might seem, it appears as though it is very possible that have saved many souls, by baptizing them. According to the rules, you had reached the "age of reason", your friends being non Catholic, didn't have access to a priest, so I would imagine your Baptisms are valid and will stand up. I am not too sure about the dogs and cats, since it really isn't certain whether or not their are pets in Heaven.

For example, whatever happened to Sonny's daughter who was onher way to being married in GFII?
She married that wealthy guy who came to meet Michael. Turns out he took Michael's advice and took a few business courses. When he figured out that Michael was making a move on Immobiliare, he took short positions on that company and the Vatican bank. Doubled his money.

...For example, whatever happened to Sonny's daughter who was onher way to being married in GFII?... Who cares about Sonny's twin daughters?!?!?! They played no prominent role in the running of the Family, nor would they ever. A good point to bring up though, was that Sonny & Sandra's youngest son (who was a baby when Vito is shot and therefore would be slightly older than Vincent) is just as nonexistent in GFIII as are Connie's children. With Anthony as uninterested in the Family Business as he is portrayed to be, what a classic rivalry it would've been to have all these male cousins involved in the story. Tom Hagen's son the priest is in my opinion present ONLY to make up for the absense of Robert Duvall and as an excuse for Michael to mention Tom's death and therefore explain him out of the film. Such a shame when you think of what a good movie this could've been. Apple

...for someone who has claimed time and time again that they never have and never would sit down and waste their time watching Godfather III, you sure seem to know a lot about it and post quite a bit about it and what it lacked... Well, although I gave it an honest try during that last GF weekend a few weeks ago, I still have not managed to sit through the whole thing. After all these years of seeing bits and pieces and reading about it here on the BB, it's no secret nor have I ever tried to make it one that I am familiar with several scenes and know about at least some of the plot having to do with the Family. All that Vatican stuff I still have yet to either figure out or care about. So, Don Cardi...your point is....????
