Ready to eat, microwave stuff don't count \:\)

I usually cook every alternate night. I cook some Indian curry and rice that will last for two dinners and one lunch. The other lunch for which I will not anything cooked, I eat at my school cafe or bake a frozen pizza at home.

Good question Svsg.

Since I live alone, I have cut down on my cooking immensely. However, I'd say I still cook perhaps twice a week.

Usually, I can make say, a roast beef dinner, and that'll be a good two meals for me; then I may make breaded steak or the like, and again, I'll have it twice (I love most any kind of meat). Then, yes I have microwave dinners, sandwiches or fast food as well.

It's getting to where I get extra enjoyment out of cooking when I have my family over and make a decent "big" meal. I just never get into cooking as many extras when it's just for me. Give me a steak and a potatoe and I'm good to go.

I usually cook 2 - 3 times a week. My wife 2 - 3 times a week, and we order out or go our to eat 2 - 3 times a week. Some weeks we may order out a bit more or go out a bit more and some weeks we may cook more than others. It all depends on the schedule for that week.

But on average throughout the year I'd say that we cook 5 times a week and either order out or go out 2.

I usually get home around 7PM, so I don't cook much during the week. During weekends we tend to eat out a bit or I'll cook on the grill. But in the Fall and Winter, I mostly cook inside.

I guess that I cook twice a week on average. My wife now cooks more than I do.

I'm basically in charge of all areas of the kitchen at home and so do the most meals for us. For actual cooking though I'd say around twice a week but because money is tight we do huge batches and freeze the rest down.

I do have to say when the missus does cook it's spot on. Today she made a chicken lasagne with spinach, courgettes, and beans.

But the stuff we do together are quite possibly the worlds best like our meatballs or our sage and onion stuffing with sausage meat wrapped in bacon.

I grill whenever we grill out. Everything else, my fiancee does. She is an awesome cook. I wish she would cook more, but since she's been pregnant we've been eating out more and I hate it.

The only night we definitely do not cook is Friday. That's usually take-out night. Sometimes we eat out on Saturdays and sometimes we cook. The other 5 nights we cook.

My husband gets home too late to cook, so me and my mother are in charge of the kitchen. She and I usually share the cooking duties. Sometimes I'll cook the main course and she'll work on the side dishes, or vica versa.

However, my husband almost always cooks breakfast on the weekends, and he's very good at it.

Not that Pasta n' Sauce stuff that you just add boiling water to is it?
The stuff where the mushrooms taste like rubber and the white wine sauce smells of piss?
