Cigarettes: Michael, Kay, Barzini, Clemenza, Sonny, Enzo, Luca, Bruno Tattaglia, Cicci Cigars: Sonny, all the Dons except Barzini and Philipp Tattaglia, perhaps Vito (who has a cigar box) and Tom (we see him smoking a cigar by the end of GF2). What about Tessio and Carlo?

Apologies if this has been asked before, But how did the "Kiss" Michael gives to Fredo end up being so popular known as"the kiss of death" when there's no reference to that at all in the movie or the book? The hero and the coward both feel the same thing, but the hero uses his fear, projects it onto his opponent, while the coward runs. Wait for what? Permission? Why would him saying this give Sollozzo assurances Sonny wouldn't do anything. It just seems out of place.
