**********SPOILER ALERT**************

James Gandolfini won his 4th sag for The Sopranos. WTG!

I think it took me longer to type this than his whole speech.

I love The SAG Awards. It's great to honor something that's sagging. \:\)

We're two for two. Edie Falco won her 3rd Sag award for The Sopranos.

Beth, I was going to say that it's so nice that they have an award for the older folks like us!!

I haven't watched it. Is it any good???

It just came on at 8:00. It's kind of boring. They have actors give little speeches at their table about how they got started in the business, and end with...I'm Shit face...and I'm an actor.

I just watch for the clothes.

I didn't think they were televising it. What channel? I'm sorry I missed Gandolfini. Any other good winners?

It's not on here than til 8:00. \:\/ I probably won't watch it then. This writer's strike allowed this to be aired but not the other award shows?

Since this is the award the actors give to actors they made an exception for this award show. There were no other award shows. They were all cancelled. The Golden Globes they just had a news conference announcing the winners.

**************SPOILER ALERT**************************

It's a tri fecta. The cast of The Sopranos won for best ensemble cast in a drama.

You haven't lived until you've seen Mickey Rooney utter the words, "Queen Latifah". Those two worlds should never mesh...haha.

Mickey does look good though.

Wow!! For some reason it seems like Mickey Rooney should be about 110 by now. Talk about being around forever.

Anyway, that's good that he's still healthy and out and about. Many more years to him. \:\)

Six of the nine people participating in the Dead Pool have picked Rooney to go this year.

This is the picture online of Gandolfini accepting his award. It looks like he has something growing out of the top of his head.

Oh, that makes me miss Tony Soprano. \:\( You know, Tony's such a great guy and all.

Glad he won though. If anyone was made for a role, he surely was.

Here's Gandolfini before the SAG awards. Maybe his win put him in a better mood.

I think, for an actor, that the SAG Awards is more important than the academy awards in that with the SAG awards it is a body of your peers, people who do what you do for a living, that are telling you that you are the best at what you've done by voting to give you that award. To me having your peers compliment you in that manner means more than having someone who really does not do what you do for a living decide if you were the best at something or not.

At least that's how I would feel as an actor and a member of SAG.

Don Cardi cool

Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.
