After reading plawrence's sequel to The Godfather, I was inspired to write a few lines of my own. Enjoy. grin

CHAPTER I

Michael Corleone sat alone in his office, in his home in Lake Tahoe with his head rested on his hand. He was wondering what he was going to tell his sister, Constanzia, about the death of his brother, Frederico. He usually had matters such as this one thought through before he carried them out, but today's matter was an exception. He was ashamed of what he had done. He wanted to think about it as little as possible.

He called for his caporegime, Albert Neri, Fredo's executioner, to come into his office. "I feel lousy about it, Al" said Michael. The caporegime was surprised that Michael was telling him this. Michael Corleone didn't usually show emotion in matters of business. He knew Michael was truly ashamed of what he had done. "That's understandable. But Fredo was a traitor. He was a threat to our organization" said Al. He paused. "You made the right decision, Mike". The caporegime's words didn't comfort Michael.

Al knew Michael was distressed and turned around to leave. "Al" said Michael "Send in my sister". Al knew exactly what Michael wanted to speak to his sister about. He didn't ask any questions, he did exactly what Michael said.

I see I'm not the only one with a problem writing dialogue wink tongue

Good start plot-wise.

BTW, Neri would be Fredo's "executioneer", not his "executor".

Not bad. But Al isn't a capo;he doesn't command troops.

I don't see Michael switching emotional gears so quickly after oredering Fredo's death. His catharsis comes much later in his life.

Also, his encounter with Connie is a little too similar to his encounter with her at the end of GFI.

Maybe this could be a joint effort among all Board members.

Good beginning. I like these ideas. Keep writing! I'll keep reading. wink

Thank you, plawrence, Flora Corleone, olivant, Tony Love. I've changed a few of the mistakes you pointed out for me.

I thought Al was capo, either him or Rocco is. cause in GFI, Hagen says he noticed Al and Rocco recruiting men or something to that effect. Who would be the Capos then if not them

The way I understand it, Rocco is the new capo, and Al is basically the special ops hitman.

I think that this is a great topic, and I'm pleased to add my response.

I stand up and cheer anyone who takes the time to pen something like this, with so many diehard Godfather fans here. They can be hard to please at times, because they love the movies so much.

Keep up the good work folks. There are many of us here who enjoy your work. wink

lol wink You do come up with a good one every now and then.

Now how about telling me how long it will take for my bodies to thaw out?

Frozen bodies would never work in your plan. The colorization would be all wrong after freezing. Blood collects in large spotted areas and you would have discolorizations. There is no way a frozen body would look natural.

Paw, take your thumb and press into the top of your other hand for a few moments. Then take away and look at the color change. Blood flow gives the skin a normal look. That white spot would be what a dead remains would look like with no blood flow.

It would take many hours/ maybe even two days for a large body to thaw if frozen and would never look normal. Not to mention that no blood would flow at all after freezing as it would all be clotted and all arteries would be like dark blue roadmaps all over the body. Giving it a freakish look. The eyes would be clouded and not clear, so it would also give them away.

Not to mention that all trucks coming into a compound like this would be searched no matter who was coming thru these gates. Any large containers would be checked. And I doubt anyone could stay in the woods all day with guards seeing them and looking out of place.

Don't be fooled either, you just aren't going to throw real bodies of grown men over your shoulders that easy. You have heard of the expression "Dead Weight" and then there is the fact of blood flowing from what should have been fresh wounds. A thawed body would have no blood flow as stated above.

Sorry, no way, no how would they pass.

Maybe it would be easier to say that there was a team of three or four members and that two of them were left as scapegoats and killed by the other two team members. Leaving the two flunkies dead would take the heat off the other two leaders for a clean getaway. wink
