I was watching an old episode of The Sopranos on A&E (i think) last night... it was an episode that aired exactly 2 years ago called "Luxury Lounge" which is actually quite amusing, I know people that know lauren bacall and say that she is not so pleasant, but what is more funny is christopher trying to sell a script but obsessing over trinkets from a goody bag, and then even Tony brushes it off as bs. In any case, artie bucco had a recipe for il coniglio -- I have a few recipes, but i have a frozen rabbit loin in my freezer... I know i can prepare it like chicken cacchatiore (hunter's stew), but I was wondering if anyone else has had it and how? The last time i had it was at a wedding and it was in a light brown stew and it was quite good... any ideas?

He meant shave, not share...

Go for it! \:p

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

I once ordered chicken, and was mistakenly served rabbit. The waiter told me about it after I had eaten it.

Boy, I was hopping mad.

I don't blame you, Klyd. I personally like rabbit, but I grew up on it. If it was given to me by accident, I'd be very pissed off.

I ate rabbit years ago when on holiday in Spain.

It was nice.

I think I've had it 3x in my life, first time in Sicily grilled, I actually hunted it. 2nd time was at a Sicilian Wedding in a stew, and last time was at a Brazilian BBQ place. I think i will make a stew with what i have in the freezer.
