Anyone into Spanish soap operas, if so, which? More particularly, anyone seen "Rubi"? It was on about 4 years ago and is one of the best an can be seen everyday at noon on Telemundo -- if anyone is into this and/or have seen it, i am interested to know something... let me know so we can start a discussion!

I like to understand what I watch, I can speak Italian but Not Spanish

He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!"

So what’s the labyrinth?

That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?

Italian/Spanish are very similar, if you know one you can almost understand the other, thats what I have noticed and what have hispanic people have told me... in any case, it has subtitles if you have the right tv, but they say that 90% of the message is nonverbal, if you turn off the sound you can pretty much understand what's going on...

Congratulations! You found a forum that's not related to foreign food for vodka! \:p ;\)

And no, of course I don't watch that chit, mang... I have Food Network lol

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol
