Sen. Ted Kennedy has been taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, FOX 4 in Florida (WFTX)confirms.

The Massachusett's senator's medical condition is unknown.

According to an article in the Cape Cod Times, Kennedy was first rushed to Cape Cod Hospital Saturday morning after falling ill. But after spending two hours in the emergency room, he was flown by helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

The Democratic senator initially started feeling ill at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport, according to the article.

Well, it still seems unclear as to exactly what it was. I am hearing a seizure of some kind. They say he's conscious and joking around so that's good. Anyway, I hope he gets well soon.

So, back on topic since I've not heard any new news today. Did they determine what kind of seizure this was? Last I heard it was NOT a stroke but he was doing well.

Also, He IS the last living Kennedy Brother right? Surviving sisters are Eunice only??? Who am I missing? They are such a huge family.

Rosemary was the mentally ill sister? If so, I think she recently died. Patricia, I'm not sure. I'd have to check. I can't even remember her off the top of my head.

Rosemary did recently die, I believe. After being lobotomized by Joe, Sr., that bastard.

Ted WAS a handsome man, but it looks like the years of drinking have caught up with him.

Yeah, Rosemary died a few years ago (from natural causes). She was "mostly" normal until Joe (her dad) approved a lobotomy on her (supposedly because she had mood swings). The lobotomy went badly.

That's right, Peter Lawford was married to a Kennedy. Could be Patricia. I can't place her for some reason.

She wasn't bad off I think Mignon. It's just Joe didn't want a daughter who wasn't quite "normal". He really was a son of a bitch. I think he did it against his wife's wishes.

I looked up Patricia Crawford and it said she is dead. So it appears Ted and Eunice are the only ones left.

Let's see and Eunice is a Schriver, Maria Schriver's (Arnold's wife) mom right? What about Sgt. Shriver, is he dead???? I assume so. Talk about a huge family. I couldn't name most of the next generation.

I think Sgt. Shriver is dead. And remember, they've lost quite a few of the "younger" generation as well.

The Kennedy's might as well change their last name to "Osmond". Does anyone have less than 6 kids?

He's still alive. klydon and I have him picked in the Dead Pool. He's 92 years old.

Interestingly enough, Rosemary Kennedy was the fifth of the Kennedy kids to die but the first one to die of natural causes. And yes, Joe Kennedy was a bastard!

If Geoff had Sgt. Shriver I'd say he'd better watch his step crossing the street.

When did Joe die? I know him mostly by reputation and don't remember if he was alive in my lifetime or not. I just can't remember. For some reason I don't remember hearing about him much when he was alive.

The late 1960's. He had a stroke while JFK was president, and lived to see three of his four sons die untimely deaths.

Especially if Ted Kennedy was driving down that street.

Jean Kennedy is still alive too. (I hadda look it up).

Do you mean Joan Kennedy, Ted's first wife? Or was there a sister named Jean too?
