In fairness to Pappa, the feds took a murdering scumbag drug dealer and made a deal with him to testify against Pappa. No argument there. The Government does make deals with the Devil. No doubt about it. More often than not, the Federal Witness protection program is a moral assault on our society. Deals with the Devil are evil by nature. When people (Gravano) can trade up to nineteen lives for the opportunity to relocate to the Arizona desert, the Government has made fools of us all. I just think that in certain instances, you have to deal with the Devil's henchmen, in order to take down the Devil himself.
