Meant to post on this again just got caught up doing others things and wasn't able to get back to it. I'm against this for multiple reasons, yeah peoples 401k's are looking bad, but we've all got to ride it out, things will get better can't say when but things will get better. Plus I feel the government has no damn right to take what is essentialy mine and do what they please with it. That is socialism my friends pure & simple. Taxes are another matter which I'm not real happy with either. 3rd the program would be a government run program? Man if that doesn't raise all kinds of red flags then nothing will. Look folks the current social security system is a government run system and it's going bankrupt, yeah the government has done a damn fine job handling that. I realize this proposed program would be different but still a government run program spells bad news. And since when can the government guarantee anyting like what the plan proposes?
