I've kept all settings from last year and set a tentative Live Draft date of Monday, March 30 6:30pm ET. This can be changed if it's not convenient for everyone

Those who can dedicate 6 months of active play are encourage to join. If you can't commit, then please don't sign up. We are a very active league and expect participants to play the entire year.

I'd rather do the draft a little later in the evening but if that's the time and date that everyone likes, I can make it work too.

I should be able to make it work as well. Lucky for me the economy sucks, so my boss has no problem cutting back hours.

I officially got the time off of work, so please don't change the time and date!

I'm glad to see GB (King Justice) is playing again this year. He had a good team and made smart trades last season.

Just be prepared to make trades in this league. Or at least have trades proposed to you. This is a very active daily league. And as TM said last year, people who quit before the end of the season, no matter how bad they are doing, will be shot

Also, I know BAM mentioned he wanted to play. Before the season starts someone needs to explain the pitching rule to the new guys.

I will have to rely on the good old auto draft. Will be middle of the night here and i would be at work anyways....

I feel like a little kid bugging his parents every year when the Baseball season starts... but here's another question... When do we find out our draft order? I know we've done it ahead of time in the past and it was helpful.

Unless it's overridden by the Commish (I think he can do that), the draft order is determined automatically and randomly about 30 mins ahead of the draft...

I know, but in past years we set a predetermined draft order. You made it into a forum game two years ago, and I think SC set it randomly last year. That way we had a day or two ahead to plan our draft.

Agreed. Too bad DB doesn't come on here during the weekends much...

I just hope I'm in the middle somewhere. I hate to be at the top or bottom, where you have to make back to back picks.

Why? I like picking 2 quickly rather than the PAINFUL wait of seeing all your first/second/third choices disappear at every single freakin' position!

I enjoy picking close together. It's easier to plan out who will be there 20 or so picks from when you just chose and then you get two guys at once. It all works out even though.

Good points, but after your picks, you don't pick again for a LONG time.

That's the painful part of picking close together.
