Yeah, so last night I returned home after two nights and three days of fairly heavy intoxication in and around Chez Turi. Great trip.

It was quite surreal how natural meeting each other seemed; we've 'known' each other just less than 8 years. There was neither a dull nor an awkward moment.

The real Turi is just as he is on the board, plus more; laid-back, easy-going (are they the same thing?), observant, thirsty (for both knowledge and alcohol, haha), funny, and, erm, good in bed. I'm already looking forward to our next shindig.

These are the pictures that survived some serious self-censoring...

And a few more...

A note on that last pic: these are the few receipts I kept (of travel, food and drink) in the hope of getting reimbursed by the Gangster BB UK Meet-Up Fund... tongue

Great pics Capo!! smile For some reason I imagine you two would get along very well together. It looks like you had a wonderful time. Btw, who's colorful toenails?? lol

Are you going to claim those receipts as "business expenses?" Or, should I say "Monkey Business" expenses.

Btw, how far do you two live from each other???

Actually, don't they look like they could be related in a couple of the pictures? smile

I was gonna say that some pictures you had to look at their shirts to figure out who was who. They do have a strong resemblence.

And we look like a 'couple' in a few 'related' pictures. tongue

We live close enough to make our next meeting fairly soon, actually. Certainly more frequent than an annual thing.

The toes are Turi's. I wish I could claim credit for painting them, but a creative girl beat me to it.

Actually for the purposes of going out we were cousins to explain our differences in accents.

I had a great weekend from the instance of meeting Capo at the Station in Manchester we embraced in open arms. In fact it was the bar at the Station and not a minute or two later he was getting the drinks in. Although that alcoholic was already a few drinks ahead of me.

Mick's right. I am great in bed.

I bet any video coverage of this would've been hilarious...though I'm unsure if it'd be appropriate for us to view? lol

This weekend gone Turi visited mine. It was great, yo'! Yogi had planned to meet up too but sodding work got in the way. Some pics for those not on Facebook:

In my back garden:

In my dining room - Turi deep in conversation with my dad (off-frame):

Entering the final frame decider at 8-ball; I won 5-4 - Turi will have you on that I cheated but don't listen to him:

Here's Turi with the car park from UK gangster film Get Carter (which is being brought down at present) in the background:
