Just saw "Mob Money" on CNBC, part of their "American Greed" series. They focused on the inner workings and eventual downfall of The DeCavalcante Family. It is amazing how much stuff that actually happened within The DeCavalcante Family (North Jersey Mob) ended up in "The Sopranos" BEFORE it was publicly known. The FBI had an informant wearing a wire recording many DeCavalcante members incriminating themselves and others. Within 1-2 years, some of the stuff was written in to Spranos episodes! Makes you wonder if David Chase had some very inside sources to draw from while writing storylines and episodes? If you haven't seen this yet, it is worth seeing.

I did see it. Have you ever read the book "Made Men"? It goes into greater detail about many of the principals described. Worthwhile.
"When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives." Winter is Coming Now this is the Law of the Jungleāas old and as true as the sky; And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die. As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk, the Law runneth forward and back; For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.
I had set this to record then we had a big storm and my power went out.
Long as I remember The rain been coming down. Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground. Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun; And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.
