My Dad is 82 and still drinks Cutty when he orders a drink in a restaurant. It was a huge seller back in his day, as was J&B, which is what he orders when they don't have Cutty.

I'm more a fan of Canadian whiskey, to be honest. I've been drinking Crown Royal for close to thirty years.

pb, I love Crown , but the price, and such I can only have it on special occasions . Cutty is popular with some folk but always thought it tasted like Karocene, JB is good .

When you stated movies, it is like seeing Jack Daniels and the ass kicken bikers or rodeo riders. Yuk, I will take my Beam . But at the right moment if it's there might just have a shot.

Try the VO. It's a bit more reasonable and the difference is almost negligible.
