I am surprised that this great movie has not been mentioned here smile Its about the Chicago outfit, its great but not a masterpiece. Reasonable acting, Frank Vincent did a good job. It could have been a wonderful mafia movie, but it ended up being a movie rated not more then 7 imo.

And this:
I found this movie also, any place to buy it?

I never heard of it. Did it go straight to DVD? It didn't have any A list actors which is usually an issue as far as commercial success. ohwell

"When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives."
Winter is Coming

Now this is the Law of the Jungleā€”as old and as true as the sky; And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die.
As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk, the Law runneth forward and back; For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

There are some Sopranos actors in the movie, Frank Vincent in the main role. It went straight to dvd i think.

I liked it to, but in the end it didnt give me that feeling i have with other mob mobies. It could have been a better movie. But better then nothing right? We dont see many mafia movies lately. And have you saw "Street Boss"? Its about the Detroit mafia. Its a B movie if you ask me, but i am interested in all mob movies A or B dont matter.

If it has Sopranos actors it has to be good.

Yeah the ending for Chicago Overcoat left me hanging I wanted to know what would happen to Frank Vincent whether he made it to Vegas, and what happened to the jailed Chicago Boss if he got off, etc. All in all it was better than nothing it was good movie.

I heard Street Boss was a horrible movie that its a shame that its even about the mob cause its a disgrace... thats what I read anyway.

Mob movies have potential, but somehow the new mob movies fail big time. Lets wait and see the Irishman..

The Irishman from the trailers I have seen seems will be a 6/7 out of 10 movie...

It's impossible to judge a film from it's trailer as trailers can be very deceiving.

Can't be any worse that Kings of South Beach haha

I was about to make a thread about Fountain Avenue. Guess this will suffice since it was mentioned. Anyone seen it? Is it any good?

The Irishman movie has a slight advantage over Chicago overcoat, Overcoat missed just the little more action and acting. Still, they dont even get near Casino, Goodfellas or Donnie Brasco.

Just saw Chicago Overcoat like two hours ago I was honestly impressed I always watch pretty much anything with Frank Vincent thats the thing the whole damn movie can be straight garbage but he actually plays whatever role he's given to almost a science just my opinion though and I saw the Irishmen the other day had alot of potential it was a good movie but I felt it could of been done alot better just my take on it though.
