I'm 100% sure he was at one point, because of the taped conversation between Massino and Basciano. Angelo Prisco was also caught on tape discussing Mancuso's role in the Bonanno crime family, implying he was Vinny's underboss. There's also been reports that Mikey Nose is the official underboss. And what I did, by me taking the reigns, I annointed myself, through you, as acting boss. I made Michael acting underboss and Anthony acting consiglieri. Vinny, I read his indictment when it came down and I think the acting underboss at the time was nicky santora not mancuso. At the time? When? During Basciano's reign. You got Basciano on tape talking about making Mancuso his "acting underboss". You're gonna dispute that? I will say this though. It is entirely possible that Santoro served as Basciano's acting underboss before Mancuso. There is evidence that suggests that.
