1. Michael Franzese's "Blodd Covenant"
2. Kenji Gallo "Breakshot"

Before I go spend $60.00 on them at Barnes and Knobles id like to see what others think.

Any thoughts would be great. I have just about every book Barnes and Knobles carries on LCN but these.

Thanks...

FatGirl:Your cute
Me:Ok
FatGirl:So you wanna buy me a drink?
Me:No
FatGirl:Why not?
Me:Well Its tricky pumpkin,If I buy u a drink, every fat girl in here would think I liked fat girls & ask me to buy them a drink also. See ,I dont like fat girls unless im wasted and given Im only one drink deep so far, so you better buy me the drink honey, cause this 20 bucks aint covering the booze and drive thru ill need to take you home tonight

I haven't read "Blood Covenant," but if you're going to read a book by Franzese, I'd suggest you check out "Quitting the Mob."

I have read "Breakshot." Obviously it's about Kenny "Kenji" Gallo, who was sort of a freelance criminal. He started out in the drug business in California. Later got into the porn industry as a director. Then he became associated with the LA family. Then he moved to Florida and then New York and was associated with the Colombos for a while.

Blood Covenant is a good book, but there is to many bible quotes and born again stuff. I was more interested in the first part of the book where Franzese tells about the life and his dad how he got into it. And of course during the trials, where his dad got framed etc. And the many scams he commited, the second part about the romance and born again stuff werent that interesting.

I haven't read either, but I'd like to get a book on Franzese. I wouldn't touch a Kenji Gallo book with a six foot pole, the guy comes off as total scumbag.

I've read both books. Kenji is a guy who thinks he's better than everybody and if you read his book, you definitely get a good sense of that. Everybody is stupid to him and his tales reek of bullshit. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this.

Franzese's book has it's flaws, but it's definitely way better than Kenji's book.

Tommy Shots: They want me running the family, don't they know I have a young wife?
Sal Vitale: (laughs) Tommy, jump in, the water's fine.
