For all my fellow WD fans, AMC is having what they are calling a "DEAD WHITE & BLUE" weekend.  They will have every episode from every season all weekend. Tho I know I won't watch every episode, as you all know there are more than just a couple good episodes. I hope to catch a few. Chris Hardwick (Talking Dead) will host. Reading the article, it says it showed Beth. I will have to watch a 3rd time. I didn't catch it. There are so many quick action scenes. Btw, notice the Walkers look a little creepier? Can't wait!!  TIS

You're right DeNiro, horror/scifi usually don't get recognized at these awards. The only two awards WD is up for is Sound editing and special/visual effects. Since it starts so early here (5:00 p.m.), I'll probably watch some of it. TIS

Hey DeNiro and all Walking Dead fans, I came across this article. Apparently they plan to make a pilot for a "companion" series to the WD. Supposedly it will cover what is happening outside Atlanta, GA. I'm not so sure they should do that.  They may just overplay an excellent series theme. A while back I heard rumor that a couple characters (don't know which) from WD would be in a spinoff series. Don't know if that's what they have in mind. Something tells me it's a bad idea. I'm always fascinated by people who think the show is about zombies. The show is a series of moral dilemmas that each of us would have to face in an apocalyptic scenario. I think it's mentally and morally challenging to play along with the characters and put yourself in their shoes....great show and superbly written/produced. I know exactly what you mean. I try to tell people who haven't watched that the Zombies are secondary. It's not like a horror flick but as you say, more about moral dilemmas. Some very emotional scenes too(ie Rick's reaction to Maggie coming out with baby Judith; Darryl finding Merle turned.) I think so far, the writing and acting has been excellent. I hope season 5 doesn't disappoint. It's not for everyone. Everyone has different taste, but for me... my favorite show. TIS
