I was going to post this in "Movies & Television," but a great deal of his posts are about general NY sights - figured you guys would find this interesting! http://www.scoutingny.com/" I work as a film location scout in New York City. My day is spent combing the streets for interesting and unique locations for feature films. In my travels, I often stumble across some pretty incredible sights, most of which go ignored daily by thousands of New Yorkers in too much of a rush to pay attention.
As it happens, it's my job to pay attention, and I've started this blog to keep a record of what I see." Taxi DriverNew York, You’ve Changed – Taxi Driver - Part I New York, You’ve Changed – Taxi Driver - Part II New York, You’ve Changed: Taxi Driver – Part III Big Link Rosemary's Baby New York, You’ve Changed: Rosemary’s Baby Ghostbusters New York, You’ve Changed: Ghostbusters – Part 1 New York, You’ve Changed: Ghostbusters – Part II

Hi Gina, I tell myself that I've been to NY a few times and now I'm gonna go somewhere different, but every time I see pics of the city I am drawn to it. I find it absolutely wonderful for some reason. Makes me wanna go back again. Anyway, I love looking at the backgrounds, buildings, styles and such. Much of it looks the same as far as the buildings go.In the first link (Taxi Driver) is that a naked lady statue on top of the Bond building where it says "Women's Apparel? LOL Also, isn't that Sbarro's Pizza in Times Square still there? I didn't know (or at least didn't remember) that Rosemary's Baby was filmed at the Dakota (same hotel John Lennon was killed years later). I went to the front entrance last time I visited NY. It's right by Central Park. Thanks for posting. I'm not a NY expert to know what's what, but nonetheless I love seeing the enticing city of NY. TIS
