Who put the bomp In the bomp bah bomp bah bomp? Who put the ram In the rama lama ding dong? Who put the bop In the bop shoo bop shoo bop? Who put the dip In the dip da dip da dip?
Good question. Who is that man? I'd like to shake his hand. People who are always bitchy... Were they born that way? Is it something "learned" or are they naturally bitchy? TIS

Sometimes I wonder about the age old question, "what came first, the chicken or the egg?" Or..why is it men don't like to ask for directions? Why do women go to the restroom in groups? TIS

I think DNA is a stronger factor than nature, but nature can definitely shape a person and make them tough to get a long with. You can't really say it's one or the other, because it's a combination of both. Everything plays a part in our development. However, our DNA is an amazing thing. They've done studies on identical twins who've grown up far away from each other and had very different upbringing. The result was the same in almost every case. They had the same temperament, often had similar jobs, similar education and their interests were almost always the same. Not only that, but they had similar spouses as well.

TIS My husband swears that it's the plastic. He says that the all the plastic we use is leaching into our food and drink, and causing brain damage. He blames plastic for the steep decline in civility in our culture. Really? Interesting theory. Isn't that the one word that Benjamin (The Graduate) was told to remember? Maybe there's something to it. TIS

Good question. Who is that man? I'd like to shake his hand. People who are always bitchy... Were they born that way? Is it something "learned" or are they naturally bitchy? TIS With five daughters, I've had a real rollercoaster ride when it comes to their demeanors at any one time. The two blondes are as sweet as can be, but they can impatient and disagreeable from time to time. The three brunettes - well, you never know. The youngest among them can be a real terror and is the one most likely to explode, etc. Without socialization, we all are left with our genetic makeup. Socialization can mitigate our genetic disposition. And by the way, men are just as capable or likely to be disagreeable, etc. as females. It's just that we express it differently. Perhaps we also have other outlets for that expression.

Why do women go to the restroom in groups? Especially that one. It's so weird. I imagine they'll discuss the man at that moment. Something like: "Ooh, did you see that hunk?" "The one with the blue shirt?" "Yes" "Aw girl, that one has stinking feet". More than likely, they will be discussing the size of the man's feet! Signor V.

It would be worse if you were taking a leak and decided to spit on the floor. Seriously. Men seem to have no qualms about spitting on the sidewalk while they're casually walking down a street. Women seem to seldom do this, I must add. Perhaps we should count our blessings, as far as the "killing two birds with one stone" attitude that some men show when they are using the toilet or urinal. In my neighborhood, I am constantly looking down whenever I walk on a sidewalk due to the "spit obstacle course" I have to navigate daily. Men are also notorious for urinating in the shower, but I'm not sure I want to go there! (I do not do this, BTW.) Signor V.

@Mary: I do the same but I don't spit on streets/outside. Just in the urinoir. Yes, never on the street. I wonder if smokers who throw their butts on the ground know they are littering? Or, do they just have no regard for their environment like they have no regard for their heart and lungs.
